Human-Centric Hybrid Intelligence
Exploring the human-AI collaboration for alignment with human and societal values
The technology-value nexus
AI systems have become socially embedded at a much faster pace than our understanding of human identify, emotions and relationships; misalignment with human needs and lived experiences leads to lack of fairness, inclusivity and harm.
Our Approach
Our research takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the technology-value relationship and its implications to human control within processes of software development. We develop techniques and methodologies that embed human agency and direction into the design of responsible AI systems.
