Computing Education

Supporting learning of a diverse body of students, through empowerment in the classroom or in purposeful experiential learning environments

Students as Engaged Learners

Learning has become more passive, in a world built for constant distraction and fast answers, leaving students disconnected and demotivated.

Our Approach

We study learning environments for the engaged learner. We co-design and evaluate techniques that empower students to self-regulate their learning experience through skill development, autonomy in task and team management, and ongoing reflection of the learning experience.
